Overview

The Dominion of Men,... WIP

History & Present:

The Dominion of Righteous Man (DRM) is a tyrannical Nation that is based in the northern half of (Name of region). It arose several decades past when a time of strife ravaged the nation - corrupt leaders, starving people. It was a brutal time, the nation stagnated for long periods of time with no end - it was a decaying nation. However, with the time of grief a new power emerged, a new party; The Nationalists Brotherhood Party which gained popular support among those were disgruntled by the current government. Months later the government collapsed when the supporters of the NBP attacked the capital and gained control.

Months later, after the heads of the old government were slaughtered for their crimes the new DRM began multiple purges of the government. hundreds were killed and the NBP solidified their control over the country, but this wasn't the end of their oppression and tyranny. The high Order, which is their highest political elite - had given permission for mass production of weapons on a country-wide scale, and nuclear tests. But these came with a cost, the surrounding north was heavily polluted by the regime, waste from factory cities, and radiation leaks were a daily occurrence, which contaminated the near by ocean and land. The worst disaster came when the NBP, order a nuclear power test at their advanced "Bukut" nuclear power station - the test was to progress nuclear enrichment at double the speed, however it caused the three core reactors to melt down. An explosion followed and 45KM were sealed off with everyone in it. The radiation spread so far, the fallout was seen in the neighboring Zeyan Confederation. This also caused the degrading relations with the Confederation.

Eventually, war broke out with The Zeyan Confederation, both sides launched major offensives with hundreds of thousands of men - armored forces rolled over the border to the Confederation but the Zeyan were well prepared and launched massive attacks. These also consisted of bombing near by nuclear power stations, leaving the land even more contaminated - a massive contaminated zone went from coast to coast. After these attacks the DRM launched massive gas attacks and used other biological weapons killing many civilians and military personnel, after months of stalemate, both sides dug in and trench warfare began. The fighting continues to this day, but now with the massive devastation it caused, most of the central island in (Region's Name) will never again be a safe environment for living. Acid rain now pours over the island, from the pollution and radiation storms rage because of the multiple melt downs. Ghouls now wonder the war zone and highly contaminated zones - as they were those who were left behind to die, now the war rages on, with no end in sight.

Political System & Ideology

The Dominion of Righteous Man is a authoritarian, nationalistic, xenophobic, collective state. The party has control of almost all branches of in society, and usually dictates all laws and policies that every one must follow that fall under the states authority, an average citizen is restricted by the strict laws the party puts out, and even though they are more or less cared for by the state only the genetically pure may actually get hand outs and an opportunity, while the genetically impure are placed in factory cities to work seventeen hour work days, with no hope of leaving their designated factory district within their cities.

Another piece of their ideology found in the DRM is nationalism, many of the genetically pure are extremely nationalistic, fighting in the Legion or serving the party - trying to make the DRM a greater power in the world. However with extreme nationalism also comes xenophobia, the genetically pure are furious xenophobes and hate any who they view as genetically weaker or inferior. Hence their militant behavior and warlike mindset, which can trace some reason back from the war with the confederation. The genetically pure for this reason treat the genetically impure of the DRM horribly and usually can do what they wish with them, as no human or civil rights has ever been imposed for the genetically impure.
